As a mid career artist Everett explores his personal world of contemporary aesthetics and culture. He creates a dialogue with the viewers of his ethnically inspired images using his own mixed media visual language. Spruill creates images in bold colors, using a variety of mediums. His images are ethereal, thought provoking and spiritual as they illustrate his Afro-centric visions.
Spruill communicates his unique artistic language through the use of intense color and rich surface textures. The image is further enhanced with African inspired patterns, and hand written social commentary to further communicate with the viewer.

Everett, I am a collector. Unable to purchase now but will check a brother out at some point. Also, gotcha, referrals make the world go round. I'll do my best.
peace,

Evererett,
My, new new friend, my brother - I'm loving your work. The creative spirit is flowing...
did i say the Van gogh poster is on my wall? I didn't buy it either...I would like to buy other people's creative expessions, but first I must develop my own. You do understand the value of that, right?
People make value judgements all the time about other people based on many variables, like who their related to, etc.
I'm trying to est. my own identity, separate from my ancestor, Harriet. Let's talk about this soon.....
Viveca,
I guess you neeed a bigger home or open a museum. Well, why not both right? I can understand the awards but you have a Van Gogh POSTER on your wall and you're telling me you have no space? You're joking right? We're not talking about wall decor here, we're talking about owning a piece of YOUR CULTURE. It's also about YOUR legacy of wealth. You more than anyone should understand the importance of leaving a GREAT LEGACY that endures the ages. I'd bet you have all kinds of insurance, investments and the like but what you're missing is the incredable wealth in fine art. High net worth individuals have always known because they own so much art they NEVER have room enough to show it all. Talk about a legacy. Actually an ORIGINAL Van Gogh would set you back about $15 - 20 MIllion and that's no joke. A RECENT auction ( you don't have to die to reap the rewards) of a Warhol serigraph went for $17 Million. It originally sold for $250.00 in 1969. Talk about a return on your investment, it doesn't get any better than that. What kind of legacy do you PLAN for your family? Is it wall decor or wealth? Wouldn't you like to be the Matriarch in your family that left TRUE WEALTH for her heirs? THINK ABOUT IT, this is SERIOUS business. You know, that would be a great topic for your show. And yes I'd love to .....
I like art, just don't have the space. I do have a Van Gogh that was given to me.
My wall space is filled with awards, honors and degrees...My Harriet Tubman Family Connection exhibit needs a new space of it's own ,LOL! Take care! and Thanx again for the add.
Maybe you could be a quest on my internet radio talk show...Tell me more about how and why you an artist.
