Network Marketing Is Not A Spectator Sport

Yep, you read it right, this is not a spectator sport where you can sit on your butt looking cute and expect something to happen, you will get your hands dirty, roll up your sleeves, sweat, drink the equivalent of a 55 gallon drum of coffee, wonder if you've completely lost your mind. But the one thing you will not do in network marketing and expect to survive is to sit back and do nothing and expect rewards. You have to call people, get a list and communicate with them, you have to be fearless but trust me, if you're just being a fly on the wall or a network marketing wall flower you're toast and bait for all these sharks out there. You have to get involved, you have to peep out of your comfort zone, I had to get out of mine. I had to get over my fear of talking to prospects, my fear of writing, my fear of going belly to belly and a lot more things.

Now I look you dead in the eyes, like a cat and tell you whats on my mind, I write at will, I call at will and feel confident enough to control any phone conversation, I ask a few questions, qualify you and if everything seems like its a go and I don't feel like we're going to waste each others time then and only then do I proceed. No, No, No, you're under a terrible misconception if you think you can just lurk and accomplish anything in network marketing, you have to at least be willing to dip your toe into the water. If you think that whats going to get you to the next level you may as well use your computer to play games with or go to a chatroom or something. Don't feel bad, network marketing isn't for everyone because if you can't fight through your fears this business will send you to an early grave.

Take a chance, write something, anything fact or fiction it doesn't matter in the beginning, test your calling skills out with friends and family. My motto is that if you can blog you can write in a forum, if you can write in a forum or blog you can write an article, if you can write an article you can crank out a press release. I can crank these things out at will now, writers block, what the heck is that? In no time flat you'll notice that you've developed your own unique writing style.
